“This is was my second appointment with a dermatologist, for a second opinion, as I wasn't satisfied with the first dermatologist I saw. (From a completely different practice.) Had a very different experience. Dr. Alexis Perkins and the PA knew exactly why I was there and had already been in touch with my PC physician before I arrived. They were well versed on my situation.
Despite this, Dr. Perkins asked me to give her a brief version of why I was there to make sure nothing was missed. She listened closely to my concerns, recapped what I shared and sympathized with me. She explained what her thoughts were and came up with a specific course of action. I felt validated and relived that there was a game plan in place. Also, put next steps in place for a follow-up visit.

“I usually either love a doctor's office or hate it. This was a LOVE! I was late. I hate being late but for some reason had it in my head that they were at the Mt. Auburn hospital and ended up having to walk from there. When I arrived, the receptionist told me she would check with the doc to make sure she could still see me. When Dr. Levine said it was A-OK, the receptionist told me I could fill out my paperwork when I was done with my visit. Super nice.
